Rose leaned against the door frame watching her love, who seemed to have fallen asleep while working yet again. This case was doing nothing but cause Peter stress, and Rose wished she could sweep down and make it all go away.
Reaching to clear the papers off his chest, she lastly removed his glasses. One day he was going to need them for much more than reading, and Rose hoped she’d still be there when that day came. They do look lovely on him.
She switched off the lamp and bent down to brush a kiss along his cheek, need not wake him till the morning. He might be upset that she let him turn in so early, but tomorrow would be another long day of case files, he’d deem it worth sleeping in the end.
Her hands ran along the ends of his hair, sweeping it away from his forehead.
“Sleep well, mo gradh.”

I think it’s lovely. Absolutely lovely. But I think it should be “mo ghràidh”. But I’m not an expert :)

Haha thank you! I just copied that from the fic itself, the term not the whole text, that I wrote.  I have no Gaelic comprehension whatsoever hahaha. But I love it.
